Ingredients used to make saffola masala oats

1 cup chopped vegetables

2 medium-sized tomatoes chopped

1 finely chopped onion

1 cup oats

A pinch of turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic ginger paste

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

2 green chilies chopped

1/4 teaspoon coriander powder

1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder

1/4 teaspoon red chili powder

Oil as required

2 tablespoons coriander leaves finely chopped

How to make saffola masala oats 

Oats can be prepared in many ways, but the Masala oats recipe is a bit different. It is made by adding the flavor of spices to roasted oats, which is a different pleasure to eat.

Step 1

Put a pan on the heat and when it gets hot, add oats to it and while stirring it on medium heat, fry it till it turns golden brown in color. Now take it out of the pan and keep it in a separate bowl.

Step 2

Now heat a little oil in this pan and add cumin seeds to it and temper it. As soon as the cumin starts crackling, add garlic ginger paste, and roast it for 15 seconds while stirring continuously. Now add finely chopped onions and fry them till they turn golden in color.

Step 3

Now put all the vegetables in the pan and stir, then add turmeric powder and tomatoes to it. Cook until the tomato dissolves well. Till the tomatoes dissolve, add red chili powder, garam masala powder and coriander powder and roast them on low flame while stirring occasionally.

Step 4

When it fry, add water as per your choice and stir the entire mixture well. Now add oats to it and mix it with the rest of the ingredients. Now cover it and let it cook and reduce the amount of water as per your choice.

Step 5

Now open it and garnish it with coriander leaves. If you want to increase the taste, pour a little ghee on the oats and serve it with chutney or raita of your choice.
